THE DESIGNER

MMCJewelry was founded by high fashion jewelry designer Mika Altidor. Mika has a strong passion for the art of fashion and high fashion jewelry. While studying fashion design in Fort Lauderdale, Florida she discovered her love for designing jewelry. After graduating The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, she visited her sisters, Maggie and Charlotte in Winter Haven, Florida she designed and began marketing the new collection.

 

Thus, the name "MMC" was derived from the first initial of all three sisters, Mika, Maggie, and Charlotte. That was the day MMC was born. And from that day, "Be the dream..not the dreamer" is a quote from Mika which expresses the spirit that no one can ever stop you from being what you will become.

 

MMC Jewelry has been seen on the catwalk during Miami Funkshion Fashion Week as well as graced the pages of national print publication Jet Magazine, Raine Magazine, Mode Lifestyle Magazine, Lapalme Magazine, and Amour Creole Magazine.  

 

Mika is a philanthropist and is a sponsor for children cancer and financial support charities such as The Little Lighthouse Foundation and The Runway to Hope Foundation.  When you buy from MMC Jewelry, you'll be supporting these children charities.
